Today Lisa myself and our lovely Ana Amarazeanu went to visit our lucky 8 dogs this morning to check on them. They were in lovely kennels clean and happy. They were excited to see us as now know there are some nice humans still on this horrible earth, we took some photos i'll attach.
Next to Fundulea and to clean some poop and pee and now the dogs have proper food and water there are a lot more deposits.
This took some time, we did more treatments as have to be done either every day or every two so we have a schedule. We are also documenting everything we do, ear numbers, medications, de worm, de flea,
vaccinations so proper records will be kept. I have to say a big well done to
Lisa as she has done all of this and photographed nearly every dog now. It's a big job.
When we arrived at the shelter a volunteer had found a tiny puppy in one of the dog pens. Apparently a man dropped it there last night, great and he has lice so he is kept separate and will have treatment tomorrow as he is only 4 weeks old!
We cleaned some more with the help of the great volunteers and we left around 6. Lisa has spent most of the evening compiling her spreadsheet of all the data and we are arranging our foster and adoption homes, a lovely lady called Gloria is paying for four of the safe babies and will keep and foster all. Wonderful news!
So two days left and hopefully soon all the dogs will be safe and when we return to the UK the adoption challenge will be on.. Not just for Fundulea but all the rescued X
