Little Toffee is a UK rescue, her owners purchased her but were not prepared for owning a dog. They could not manage and so signed her over to our vets.
We moved her to foster and she is now a happy lovely sweet girl.
Toffee is a Lurcher, she is an active girl and needs her walks and to play.
Ideally her new home would have another sociable dog under 8 years old in to help her learn the ropes and have a play buddy.
Toffee is living in foster with cats and no issues.
The decision to adopt a rescue dog should not be taken lightly - we have had dogs returned as people have not been fully prepared for the investment that maybe needed. If you invest time and energy into the advice we give you, Toffee will adapt and become a rounded dog. But please do not underestimate this can mean a few weeks of hard work.
Please only apply if you are 100% committed to the hard work a puppy can bring, broken sleep, toilet training, socialisation, boundaries. The first week is very important and with the right boundaries and guidance our dogs will easily adjust and make a lovely addition to any home but adopters need to be fully prepared.
IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO ADOPT IMMEDIATELY PLEASE DO NOT APPLY AS YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A REPLY.
