Pumpkin arrived into our care on the 12th March, and is now tucked up in foster in Farnborough. The lucky boy has temporary moved in with 5 resident dogs of varying sizes going up to extra large and is proving what a wonderful boy he is taking everything in his stride. We just now need to find his forever home x
Pumpkin is one of a group of puppies found dumped on waste ground in the middle of a town in Crete a couple of months ago. Just abandoned and left, there were a total of 17 pups, all just dumped in a small area. Clearly when local people saw a few where they were, they thought it was ok to dump a few more so there was many different litters.
When we were told, we asked our lovely supporters to help us help them, as always we received great support and raised enough donations so we could help all the puppies in need x
Pumpkin is 4 months old, fully vaccinated and microchipped. He is too young to be neutered so his adopters will need to commit to doing this once he is old enough.
As Pumpkin and all the puppies were dumped without their parents it would be hard for us to say which breeds he has in him or his max size fully grown, so we estimate he will be up to medium size fully grown.
Like all puppies, Pumpkin will require an investment of training, guidance and boundaries. He will need continued toilet training, continued training / learning to walk on a lead. He will need time to learn / adjust to living in your home and learn all about the outside world, traffic, people etc some of which he will not yet have experienced.
We will only process applications from applicants who can adopt / ready to take a dog home now as Pumpkin is in foster and ready for his new hoome. You will need to travel to Farnborough, Hampshire to meet / adopt from there, so please check the distance before completing the adoption enquiry form.
A home check pass will be required before reserving, meeting or adopting any puppy and we are unable to promise / hold a puppy at any point through the process before a completed home check.
Please click 'adoption policy information' in the red box above and read through all the information including our basic criteria and applying to adopt.
