Peggy and her siblings Pru and Bruno were born unwanted in Crete, like so many pups left alone on the streets, without hope.
They were luckily taken in and cared for and now are old enough to travel to us and find loving forever homes.
Peggy arrived and is now in foster in Farnborough, we will have more updates the next couple of days on her personality but so far she is sweet and cuddly and good with dogs and cats.
All puppies require an investment of training, toilet, lead and basic guidance. They can be a lot of work and effort and we are asking all adopters to be fully prepared for the training and energy required before applying as we require 100% commitment for all our dogs.
Dogs name : Peggy
Where does Peggy sleep at night?
Peggy sleeps downstairs and sleeps through .She has been dry overnight and goes out for toilet willingly in the morning. She is super happy to see you in the morning.
How is Peggy with current pets?
Peggy is living with two large dogs and 4 cats.
She has a very placid and loving nature and like to give the cats kisses.
She takes her lead from the other two dogs and is getting brave enough now to attempt playtime.
Is Peggy clean indoors ?
Peggy has had a few accidents but is mostly dry and if kept on top of and let out frequently after food /drink/sleep will be fine. I find she goes better if left to have a sniff herself otherwise she gets easily distracted and will play and forget to do toilet 😂
Can Peggy be left alone ?
Peggy has been left with my two dogs and cats for up to 2 hours and is fine. She has toys left out for her and has only managed to grab a toilet roll accidentally left in reach whilst alone (natural puppy behaviour )One very happy pup on return!
How is Peggy out on walks ?
Peggy is still a little nervous on walks (mainly traffic)She again takes her lead from the other two dogs and is fine in quieter green areas. She will be better on a harness. Peggy is a tiny girl so everything will be a bit scarier but no concerns or anything to worry about regarding this.
How do they walk on the lead ?
Peggy walks well with encouragement. The more she goes out the better she gets.
Have they met other dogs ?
Yes and she is submissive. She wags her tail and wants to play but will mainly lay on her belly looking all cute!
She will be super dog friendly!
How is Peggy with humans ?
Humans are Peggy’s favourite! She is a bundle of love, she snuggles into your neck and likes to curl in a ball to go to sleep on your lap. She is so loving with the children. No nibbling or usual teething mouthing. Super gentle little girl. She has met lots of new people and runs straight over to them to say hello.
Is Peggy afraid of anything ?
Nothing in the house. Hoovering wasn’t a problem and regular busy household noises don’t phase her at all. Traffic is a little scary but the more she is exposed the better this will get.
Any other useful information ?
Peggy travels well in a car amd has been to my office and been a dream just snuggling in her blanket and playing with toys.
She is a confident and loving pup .She is currently having 3 meals a day. Everyone who has met Peggy has fallen in love with her sweet nature and she will make a wonderful companion for either a busy family or a couple.
