OUR ADOPTION FEE IS £400
Meet Kaia, she is 5 months old and poor girl was found abandoned, she missed out on handling and socialisation, she can be wary of other dogs initially so we are asking for an experienced home with a family who can get her over her fear and mx he regularly and even have another dog in the home.
She is just a bit scared, with time and effort she will blossom.
She has been in the shelter for many months so need guidance and training.
All the pups are young and happy, but need guidance, routine, teaching to walk on the lead, toilet training, meeting other dogs and becoming well adjusted dogs. They are blank canvases who will rely on adopters guidance.
If you do not have another dog in the home you will need to detail in your application how you plan to socialise and your experience with puppy training.
She is fully vaccinated and microchipped, but is still too young to be neutered so adopters will be asked to commit to doing this as soon as she is old enough.
Her new family will need to be prepared for the hard work of a pup - basic training, toileting, walking on and off lead, getting used to noises and living in a home.
The decision to adopt a puppy should not be taken lightly - we have had puppies returned as people have not been fully prepared for the hard work that can come. If you invest time and energy into the advice we give you, Kaia will adapt and become a rounded dog. But please do not underestimate this can mean a few weeks of hard work.
IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO ADOPT NOW, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY AS OUR ADOPTION PROCESS CAN BE SPEEDY ONCE WE IDENTIFY A SUITABLE HOME.
SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES WILL BE IN PLACE TO ALLOW MEETING/ADOPTIONS.
