This is Champ, one of 7 siblings which our rescue team will be bringing back on 16 November
Champ has spent his short life in the shelter with little human contact and no individual attention. Like his siblings he is full of life and loves a cuddle.
He is all fully vaccinated and microchipped, but still too young to be neutered so adopters will be asked to commit to doing this as soon as he is old enough.
His new family will need to be prepared for the hard work of a pup - basic training, toileting, walking on and off lead, getting used to noises and living in a home.
The decision to adopt a puppy should not be taken lightly - we have had puppies returned as people have not been fully prepared for the hard work that can come. If you invest time and energy into the advice we give you, Champ will adapt and become a rounded dog. But please do not underestimate this can mean a few weeks of hard work.
Please only apply if you are 100% committed to the hard work a puppy can bring, broken sleep, toilet training, socialisation, boundaries. The first week is very important and with the right boundaries and guidance Champ will easily adjust and make a lovely addition to any home, but adopters need to be fully prepared.
IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO ADOPT NOW, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY AS OUR ADOPTION PROCESS CAN BE SPEEDY ONCE WE IDENTIFY A SUITABLE HOME.
SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES WILL BE IN PLACE TO ALLOW MEETING/ADOPTIONS.
