Sweet Brenda, like many other dogs, born in Crete unwanted and thrown away like rubbish.
Lucky for Brenda and her sister Olive they were rescued and taken to foster and kept safe and healthy until they could travel to find loving homes.
They are now old enough to travel and we are looking for families who have another dog in the home as will be a big change for these siblings and they have always been around cats.
Brenda is the largest of the site but still small sized. She is sociable and sweet, good with dogs and cats, she just needs a family who will show her the ropes of UK life.
She is fully vaccinated and microchipped, but is still too young to be neutered so adopters will be asked to commit to doing this as soon as she is old enough.
Her new family will need to be prepared for the hard work of a pup - basic training, toileting, walking on and off lead, getting used to noises and living in a home.
The decision to adopt a puppy should not be taken lightly - we have had puppies returned as people have not been fully prepared for the hard work that can come. If you invest time and energy into the advice we give you, Brenda will adapt and become a rounded dog. But please do not underestimate this can mean a few weeks of hard work.
Please only apply if you are 100% committed to the hard work a puppy can bring, broken sleep, toilet training, socialisation, boundaries. The first week is very important and with the right boundaries and guidance Brenda will easily adjust and make a lovely addition to any home but adopters need to be fully prepared.
IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO ADOPT UPON ARRIVAL 30TH SEPTEMBER PLEASE DO NOT APPLY AS YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A REPLY.
