Winston is one of the victims of the meat trade who will be joining the Chimney Farm family this year.

Due to the lengthy quarantine procedures the dogs do have to wait in country of origin until paperwork can be issued.

We wont know a date for travel until after 31st October, we estimate the dogs will arrive to the UK until end of November / early December.

All the Korean dogs will go to foster families, to allow them to settle into a home environment and also to allow us to assess them better and then we will be able to match them with the most suitable family.

The dogs have lived in some horrible conditions without proper care, no human affection, lead walking, they have never lived in homes and they may take some time to adapt to family life. Dogs which have been confined for nearly all their lives, can come with some issues, they can be overcome with some time and patience but adopters really do need to be prepared. Likely the dogs may not eat straight away, not wish to mix with current dogs straight away, they will not have been around cats. They will not have been walked on a lead and never seen a road.

We are creating a register of interest and we invite you to complete an enquiry form and ask that you add as much information on the form in order for us to assess your experience with rescue dogs.

As you can appreciate all the meat farm dogs have endured much suffering and therefor will need patient homes with families who can give them the guidance and time they need.
