Larry is a sweet handsome boy, he left kennels a week ago and has adapted to home life so well. He is clean, very affection, great on the lead.
He has met lots of dogs but we do not feel will be good with small dogs currently, but with safe socialisation we believe he will become more sociable with them.
Larry has been neutered and up to date on vaccinations.
Below is what Larry's foster Mum says about him:
Where does Larry sleep at night?
Larry sleeps downstairs in sitting room on his cushion bed, not a peep from him at bedtime .
How is Larry with pets?
Currently we have no pets in household.
Is Larry clean indoors?
Larry has been clean indoors since day one , will go to patio door if he wants out .
Can Larry be left at home?
Larry has been left up to an hour several times daily. Either I nip out too shops or clean car on drive.. usually I will leave a treat game for him. No issues.
How is Larry on lead?
Larry like most greyhounds walks beautifully on lead.
How is Larry with other dogs?
Generally Larry has been good with other dogs, he does prefer bigger dogs and isn’t so keen on smaller ones at the moment.
We had a lovely walk today with one off our fosterers and his two adopted CF dogs, both medium sized males and Larry was absolutely fine throughout the whole walk, even choosing to walk with them . It was lovely too see especially as he is still learning all these new experiences since leaving kennels.
How is Larry with humans?
The humans we have met outside Larry has been great with and enjoyed meeting at social distancing .. indoors he’s so loving and embraces affection.
Is Larry afraid of different things?
This big world is new too Larry as his life before has been racing and kennels. Larry has adapted well in house and surrounding area , doesn’t seem phased with everyday noises such as hoover,TV, bikes cars ect; seems to take them in his stride.. he’ll perk his ears up if he hears a dog bark outside or on tv.
Larry is such a lovely handsome boy and truly deserves his forever home.
