Roger arrived last night from Athens, we first met Roger on our first trip to Athens, he lived as a stray near to the shelter with two older dogs. He was safe and in a good condition so we decided he must wait as the shelter dogs needed to get out first.
2 months ago the shelter worker Brought poor Roger to the shelter, this meant his freedom was gone and he became a shelter dog, confined in a cage and only came out for short periods. He was neutered and vaccinated and so we knew we had to help him this trip before he became antisocial and institutionalised.
When we arrived to the shelter and let out Roger he was like letting out a caged bird, he just ran and ran and was so happy for a cuddle and to mix with other dogs. He and Harry became instant friends, we took the. On some walks and Roger was off lead, such a good boy, never ran off and we saw what a sweet lovely character he is.
Roger is approximate 10 months old, neutered, medium sized and fully grown. We do not know is breed. He has seen cats when walking with us and no reaction at all.
He went to Lisa’s home last night and what a sweetie he has been, clean indoors, great with her two dogs and children, loves a cuddle, he is so affectionate. He has been not he school run and taking everything in his stride. Videos in the comments.
