Laura has been in foster in Crete and is ready to find her forever home, would be lovely if she didn't have to go into foster in the UK then move again to yet another home.
Laura was owned by a hunter in Greece and did not have a nice life, she was kept in a small kennel, she was not neutered and got pregnant. By the time we were able to help only Laura and her son Albert were left. Albert has since been rehomed, Laura had to wait in foster a bit longer so we could have her neutered. she is now ready to travel.
Her owner docked her tail poor girl.
Laura is happy, calm and very well behaved. She can live with dogs or be an only dog.
Laura deserves her family future now.
Laura is a very friendly, and loving girl. Her foster in Crete says she is clean in the house. She has no problem with eating with other dogs. She is great with other dogs and people.
Laura gets excited when she sees cats on the wall or balcony of her foster home, but will ignore them, when out walking past, closely, on lead. She is interested in all smells on her walks, so tends to pull a little to get to the next smell. She listens and wants to please. She was kept in a small pen for the last 2 years, so i think this is reason of excitement of being free, and being able to explore.
We are waiting for a travel date for Laura, it should be within the next 2 weeks, it would be great if she had a family waiting to adopt her so she did not have to change to another foster home. Laura is a wonderful girl, so grateful for her new life and deserves a happy forever home.
Laura may just need to adapt to UK roads, noises etc, but wont take her long.
Please only apply if you are 100% committed to adopting. rescue dog and have time and energy to invest in their first few weeks, to help Laura adapt.
