This is Jazzy, recently arrived from a foster home in Crete and now settling down to the start of her new life in a foster home here in the UK.
Jazzy was in the sad Crete shelter, alone in a concrete room for weeks, no friends, we do not know why, so when we knew about her we moved her to an outside enclosure with other dogs and she was so happy. We loved her to foster shortly after in Crete where she thrived. Jazzy is a sweet little lady, fully grown, happy, affectionate, sociable, clean indoors, just loves life and everyone around her. Jazzy is fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. All families will need to be fully committed and prepared for the consistent work of introducing a dog to her new life in the UK - basic training, toileting, walking on and off lead, socialisation and keeping her a happy social lady that she is. Our foster home has provided the feedback below: Dog's Name: Jazzy Arrival Date: 20th December 2022 Where does Jazzy sleep at night? Jazzy sleeps with my dogs in the utility room. She’s been happy to sleep in there from the first night. No issues or mess overnight. How is Jazzy with current pets? Jazzy is very friendly and likes to play, she is gets excited. She is a confident girl and likely would be the alpha on a pack. Is Jazzy clean indoors? Jazzy is clean indoors and usually whines and paces if she needs to go out. Such a good girl. Can Jazzy be left alone? Jazzy was left alone from the first day and she doesn’t mind but it is something that will need to be done from the offset because she does whine to be with me sometimes. Is Jazzy out on walks? Jazzy loves her walks and just wants to keep up with the other dogs. She is on a training lead or a normal lead because as she needs recall training. She’s is a curious girl and wants to explore all the smells and keen to see what the other dogs are doing. She’s an intelligent girl so I’m sure it wouldn’t take long with some investment in recall. How does Jazzy walk on the lead? Jazzy walks well on the lead, she doesn’t mind the slip lead, harness or a lead on the collar. She is very enthusiastic and wants to run and keep up with all the other dogs. Has Jazzy met other dogs? Jazzy is fine with other dogs and has met lots on our walks. No aggression and just wants to say hello. Have you noticed if Jazzy is afraid of any particular things? Jazzy doesn’t particular like the hoover but otherwise she hasn’t been bothered by anything she has seen or done. Any other useful information Jazzy is a lively little girl and has lots and lots of energy, she will enjoy an active home. She comes alive at night and loves to play with all the toys, us and our slippers! She loves a cuddle and sitting on your lap and just loves all the attention. She has settled in so well and quickly and isn’t phased by anything. She’s been out in the car and visited the local pet feed store and was happy to say hello to everyone. Jazzy’s ideal home. Jazzy could live as an only dog because she is a confident little lady and does not rely on other dogs. She would need to be socialised with other dogs as she does love to play with other dogs. Jazzy would like an active home and would love to go on lots of adventures with her new family then love to curl up on your lap for cuddles afterwards. 29/12 |
