If you would like to adopt Fern please read our adoption policy information and complete our application form which you will find here.
Fern has been in foster for a while now and is ready to find her forever home.
Sadly she and her sister were thrown out like rubbish literally when they were just a few weeks old. They were found in bins with their eyes still closed, hand reared and were then put into the shelter in Portugal at just 6 weeks old where they remained until coming to us.
Fern is nervous of strangers and can initially bark and growl but in a short time comes round. Her fosterers are working with this and say there is a massive improvement but her adopters would need to be prepared to continue her training and teach her that she doesn’t have to be scared.
She is clean in the house, walks well on a lead and loves the company of her fosterers' dog and playing with other dogs she meets.
She is 6.5 months old, a mixed breed and will grow no bigger than medium. Neutered and fully vaccinated.
Child policy - over 5 years
No adults under 30 years.
Adoption criteria and home check will apply.
