Meet the lovely Faith. Poor Faith has a very sad story but one with a happy future.
We heard about Faith from a friendly animal loving police man in Crete. He told us there was a little family been abandoned, living on rocks and without any hope of survival. There were no fosters or safe places for this little family. We took Faith and her 7 puppies to foster and have been caring for them ever since. All her puppies are healthy and wonderful and adapting well. They are still too young to travel but they will come to the UK when they are old enough. Faith has been a wonderful mum, now its her turn to enjoy life and she is very keen for her future. Faith is one happy sociable girl, she is always smiling and up for adventures. Faith isnt shy or scared, just up for fun nd adventures. She loves humans and playing with other dogs. Just a joy to have around. Faith is learning the ropes of UK life so will need to continue her training, rules boundaries. Making sure she gets to play with other dogs and has the active life she needs and deserves. The decision to adopt a rescue dog should not be taken lightly - we have had dogs returned as people have not been fully prepared for the consistent work that maybe needed. If you invest time and energy into the advice we give you, Faith will adapt well to her new UK life. Our foster home has provided the feedback below: Dog's name: Faith Where does faith sleep at night? Faith sleeps great, she has her bed next to my bed and sleeps throughout the night. She has no accidents and settles well. How is faith with current pets? Faith lives with another dog and gets along well with him. She loves dogs, she loves to play and they play nicely, no issues at all. She has met lots of other dogs and just wants to play. She has lovely dog manners. If a dog grumbles at her she goes all submissive and wants them to like her. Is faith clean indoors? Yes, such a good girl and no messes at all, super girl. Is faith out on walks and how does she walk on lead? Faith loves to go out walking and walks nicely on lead. She can either be walked on a harness or a slip lead. She’s fine near roads, parks and fields and I’ve not seen her be scared of anything so far. Just an amazing girl. Has Faith met with other dogs? She was a little wary initially but now has met lots of dogs and loves to play. How is Faith with humans? Faith loves people, she loves nothing more than having cuddles and tickles from people. She likes to play with toys and is good at taking food from your hand. Has Faith been left alone? Faith has been left for 3 hours and just settles in her bed. Have you noticed Faith is afraid of any particular things? She was more curious then scared of some children on scooters the other day but everything is very new to her and she walked on once they passed. The perfect family for faith Faith is just a lovely girl and my easiest foster, such fun, loving and confident, loves dogs and people. Faith would be fine living alone or with another dog. She loves a fuss and playing with toys. Faith is playful and would benefit from good walks and playing with other dogs. She would make a fab running buddy, would be ideal for camping and adventure holidays. She loves her food and would be great fun to train, she’s already learning sit and paw. 26/08 |
