Our foster home has provided the feedback below:
Dogs name: BRENDA
Where does Brenda sleep at night?
She sleeps in her bed in our bedroom currently.
How is Brenda with current dogs/animals?
She’s brilliant, very respectful of all my dogs. She’s shy around the cats and would rather avoid them.
Is she clean indoors?
Can Brenda be left alone?
Yes we have left her for 30 mins so far but seems really settled after her walk.
Is Brenda out on walks?
Yes she loves her walks. If walking alone she needs a little encouragement and confidence but with other dogs she can’t wait to get going. She bonds quickly with both humans (especially humans) and dogs and will happily run and play.
How does Brenda walk on the lead? She is an absolute dream. It took 1 walk until she got the hang of it.
Has Brenda met with other dogs?
Yes many, she lives with 4 very different dogs and we walked with my neighbour who’s a dog walker and her 4 and she fitted straight in. She is very well socialised and has perfect manners.
How is Brenda with humans?
She loves humans and is never far from one in the house if available.
Have you noticed that Brenda is afraid of any particular things?
Sudden movements and noises cause her to startle and shy away. I have every confidence she will grow out of this in time.
Any other useful information
Brenda is a very easy well rounded dog.
What kind of home do you think would be suitable?
Brenda is a young dog who is beginning to show her playful side. She loves to be around other dogs and humans. She needs an active family who will fully include her in their lives. She would love to live with a well behaved dog to help her confidence but not essential. If no other dog she will need playmates regularly.
