We are very pleased for little Bianco, he arrived on 9th May and time for him to find his forever home.
Below is some information from his foster mum:
Dogs name: Bianco from Crete
Where does the dog sleep at night? He likes to be in with us – either on a bed in our room or on the end of our bed
How is the dog with current pets? Bianco is really good with Buddy – Bianco likes a little play now & then but doesn’t really pay him much attention.
Is the dog clean indoors? Bianco had one accident on his first night but that was because he got a little distressed that we tried to sleep him in the kitchen. He has had no accidents indoors since, we’ve been lucky with weather so has had access to the garden and uses it for all his business as well as his walks.
Can Bianco be left alone? We have left Bianco for short periods at home with Buddy and he has been well behaved and has been asleep on his bed when we returned.
Is the dog out on walks? Bianco loves a walk and a run in the park
How does he walk on the lead? Bianco walks well on the lead, we have used an extendable lead in the park which works well. I think he will be quick to learn recall.
Have they met with other dogs? Bianco does appear a little nervous if approached by other strange dogs in the park but does not bark, growl or show any aggression at all
How are they with humans? Bianco is a people dog and enjoys company and lots of fuss.
Have you noticed the dog is afraid of any particular things? No fears noticed so far
Any other useful information ? Bianco is a lovely, happy, calm and very well behaved dog. He would make a great first time dog as he is easy. He is my little shadow and follows me from room to room and around the house, he can be fast asleep but if I leave the room, he is behind me in seconds. He lacks a little confidence and looks to us for reassurance but that is to be expected with the upheaval over the last few days. He loves an antlers horn and a cuddle. He does not appear to be food or toy possessive.
Whats not to love. Bianco is a little boy, he weighs nearly 7kg and has done most of his growing. He is not neutered as yet, just 6 months so a family will need to agree to sterilise once he has settled. He has been around cats and will make someone a wonderful friend.
No children under 5 years.
