If you are ready to adopt Beary, with no holidays or prearranged engagements which could delay adopting, please please read our adoption policy information before completing our application form.
Beary was a stray in Athens, Greece and due to his size he was not safe to be living on the streets - the larger the dog the more likely people are to be afraid, and so they beat or poison them out of fear.
Beary was saved by a lady who brought him to the shelter we help in Athens. The poor boy is large size and has a good coat of hair which is unbearable in the hot summers of Greece. He has a lovely nature , is sociable, walks lovely on the lead and is very loyal to his rescuers.
He is an older at approximately 6 years, of mixed breed, collie type, not a lively boy but enjoys his walks and is a bit of a lap dog who enjoys lots of cuddles.
If your able to offer this boy a home who is available now from his foster home in Guildford, Surrey, please do complete an enquiry form.
Let's change this boys life from confined in a shelter with one walk a week to a family loved pet in the UK.
Child policy - over 5 years
